OVERVIEW
Founded in 1991, today’s CUE, a.s. (assignee of CUE, s.r.o.) is a stock corporation managed by five stock holders. Located in the Czech Republic, CUE is the only European company developing solutions and manufacturing control system for commercial and residential environments.
CUE standard is based on twenty years of experience in audio-visual field in cooperation with the Art Centrum agency. Art Centrum introduced on the world scene such novelties in the audio-visual sphere as for instance first audiovisual show with 300 carousel slide projectors (1967), the KINOAUTOMAT at EXPO 70, the CINELABYRINTH at EXPO 90 in Osaka, as the latest, INTERGROVISION at Gandhinagar in India (1992) – all these works were realized with this group of highly specialized research team, constantly developing control systems further and further.
At the early stages CUE was highly focused on the multimedia shows.
In 1993 the partners recognized the need for simple tools people could use to harness the power of rising technology. That time CUE earned experience in the installations of control systems in corporate board rooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms within the Czech Republic and around the world.

The decision to participate at Photokina 1996 was a turning point in CUE history. At this first exhibition CUE appointed seven distributors from UK, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Norway and Sweden. Since than CUE has expanded to many territories around the world.
Employing individuals with years of AV industry and research and development experience, the company is continually improving through the adoption of new technology.
From one point of view we are a group of people committed to being the best we can be in our chosen field: the world market in software and hardware products for mixed media show and conference room electronic and programmable equipment. That is true. But it may help also to see CUE, a.s. as a global information resource and product source for AV producers. Or for anyone anywhere with a project that calls for quick-to implement leading-edge tools for media control.
