Case study
Municipality of Olomouc
The Challenge
After nearly two decades, the main council chamber of Olomouc City Hall underwent a major modernization to meet the demands of today’s hybrid governance. The goal was to create a space that supports in-person and remote participation, simplifies complex AV operations, and ensures smooth, intuitive control for every session.
With multiple technologies in place (from voting systems and projections to streaming and audio), the key challenge was clear: unify control into a single, user-friendly interface that allows seamless management of the entire environment, both from the floor and the technical control room.
About Olomouc City Hall
Olomouc City Hall serves as the administrative center of one of the Czech Republic’s historic cities. It supports the work of elected representatives, committees, and municipal departments, ensuring the smooth operation of local governance.
As a modern public institution, the city continuously invests in digitalization and innovation to improve both internal processes and public services.
Our Czech partner AV MEDIA took care of the project implementation.
Our Resolution
CUE delivered an intuitive control layer that brings the entire AV ecosystem under one unified interface.
Touch panels installed both in the main chamber and in the technical control room enable effortless operation of all connected technologies. Users can quickly select predefined scenarios or manually adjust key elements such as lighting, shading, audio, video routing, and content distribution.
This centralized control simplifies even complex setups, allowing operators to manage presentations, hybrid meetings, and live streams with confidence and precision. At the same time, the intuitive interface ensures that everyday users can interact with the system without technical expertise.
By transforming multiple independent systems into one coherent, easy-to-control environment, CUE helps the Olomouc City Hall focus on what truly matters: efficient decision-making, clear communication, and seamless collaboration, whether participants are present in the room or connected remotely.
