The Challenge
The newly opened Grand Hansa Hotel in the heart of Helsinki set out to offer a five-star guest experience that blends timeless elegance with cutting-edge technology.
To meet modern expectations, the hotel required a robust AV and control solution that would cover a wide range of spaces, including:
Ballroom and high-end meeting rooms
Restaurants and lobby areas
Guest rooms and shared zones
The key challenge was to ensure seamless operation, simple control for hotel staff, and full compatibility with guests’ personal devices, while maintaining the refined ambiance of the space.


About Grand Hansa Hotel
Operated under the NH Collection brand, Grand Hansa Hotel is a flagship five-star property located in central Helsinki. With 229 guest rooms and a wide selection of meeting and event spaces, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers.
Our Finnish partner Electro Waves Oy took care of the project implementation.
Our Resolution
To provide intuitive control and reliable automation across the property, CUE’s control systems were integrated throughout the project. These technologies allow hotel staff and guests to manage AV environments with ease: whether it’s a business presentation, a private dinner, or a hybrid meeting.

Used in combination with the larger AV system, the CUE components power centralized and local control in:
High-end meeting rooms (including the impressive Socis room with a curved LED wall)
The ballroom, used for events and conferences
Background music and signage systems in public areas
Grand suites and executive spaces
Thanks to the CUE system’s flexibility and ease of use, the hotel can now offer a seamless guest experience while giving staff full control of AV systems across the venue: from touch panels or remotely.
The result is an elegant integration of modern technology into a heritage-rich space, ensuring Grand Hansa Hotel is ready for today’s demands and tomorrow’s expectations.
