CUE Solution | Version 11.24.0 released
We are excited to share the latest updates and enhancements in the CUE Solution ecosystem, designed to streamline your experience and improve functionality. Let’s take a closer look at them, shall we?
Resource detail improvements
CUE Navigation & CUE Kiosk
Video
An MP4 video player is now available to support rich media content in every resource. This allows you to easily sound e.g. objects in the museum, give the user instructions on how to use the resource, etc. It supports multilingualism.
Audio
Audio in MP3 format now supportsmultilingualism. This means that the audio to be played is selected based on the language used in the application.
Interactive 3D view
An interactive 3D view using Matterport is now available for every resource. Matterport models now allow users to explore detailed tours of spaces such as surgery rooms, shops, meeting rooms, etc. Enter the URL to Matterport in the CUE Admin, and the content will be displayed in the iframe.
Improved search
CUE Navigation & CUE Kiosk
The search has been improved, now in addition to POI or resource names, it also searches the resource type, POI category, resource description and resource properties. The search term is visible below the item in the list. The filterability and searchability by individual criteria can be configured freely.
Calendar view
CUE Assist
A beta version of Calendar view is now available for all reservations. Give it a try, and look forward to more improvements in future versions. You can already switch between day, week, or month views and filter as you were used to with the list view.
A significant improvement is the ability to view locations or other users’ calendars in addition to your calendar.
Other improvements
- Swapping start and finish in CUE Navigation is a new functionality by simply clicking the arrows between them.
- Graphical and UX improvements to the entire navigation and kiosk. We focused on using step navigation, better switching between maps, portrait kiosk, filters, and more.
- A new option for CUE Assist users to set the first day of the week. Along with the language, this setting is saved to the user, and the administrator can view the user’s set value in CUE Admin.
- In the location detail, there is now a link to the resource detail in the navigation.
- The ability to export QR codes, resources, units, and user data to Excel has been added in CUE Admin.
- In CUE Admin, the IP address of the unit is now displayed directly in the unit grid, so you can easily click on its Admin website.
