CUE Solution | Version 11.9.7 released
We are excited to share the latest updates and enhancements in the whole CUE Solution ecosystem, designed to streamline your experience and improve functionality. Let’s take a closer look at them, shall we?
Central control system management
Since version 11 CUE Solution allows you to manage control system units (controllers and touch panels) and Cue Visual Composer (CVC) projects for these control systems. The management of control units is the same as you are used to with reservation units. In CUE Admin you can see an overview of the units including their status, firmware, area assignment, etc. and you can filter and edit them in bulk. Firmware in units is automatically updated with the Solution version.
CUE Calendar
In CUE Admin, you can now set different user permissions for using CUE Assist by distinguishing between group owners and members, who you set different rights to read or edit private/public events.
The timeline displays reservations including details and you can also set the user’s rights to view details of other users’ reservations.
A new notification template Email login not-valid user has been added to inform about invalid email login attempt.
You now have the ability to export and import users and resources.
CUE Admin
- Language translations display: View all active language translations for items in your applications, improving localization management.
- Enhanced unit categorization: You can now assign units to areas without needing a QR code. Optionally, hide specific areas from the navigation app as needed.
- Firmware export: Export tables with required firmware, including download links – perfect for offline installations.
- User login deactivation: Deactivate users’ CUE Assist logins either indefinitely or for a specified time period.
- Notification improvements: Adjusted default notification values with an option to reset them to the default English version. Learn more
- Updated configuration areas interface: The configuration areas have received a fresh UI update for a better experience.
- Event data correction: You can now correct stored event data in System → Debug, useful in cases like incorrect mail flow setup.
- Analytic dashboards bug fixes and enhancements: New columns “Status” and “Created” have been added to the Reservations by user dashboard, providing more detailed insights.
- Digital Signage: newly added option to adjust the size of the content to match the width of the screen.
CUE Navigation and CUE Kiosk
- Improved link sharing & QR code scanning: The app status now fully syncs when sharing a link to navigation or scanning a QR code from a kiosk. This includes the displayed floorplan, start and target points, barrier-free options, opened location or POI details.
- Enhanced QR code feature: On kiosks, when clicking an external link from a location or POI detail, a popup with a QR code will now appear. Simply scan the code to view the link on your mobile device.
- Standard navigation kiosk or Full digital signage: You can now choose between two kiosk modes – standard navigation or full digital signage (without navigation).
- Digital signage options: Choose from multiple backgrounds, including navigation, color, or image.
- Enhanced graphics: Navigation and kiosk graphics have been improved for a more polished look and better user experience.
- Enhanced navigation: A redesigned navigation bar for desktop and kiosk and improved display of steps to navigate through multiple floorplans make the wayfinding experience even smoother.
CUE Assist
- Diacritic-independent search: You can now search results faster regardless of accents or special characters.
- Event confirmation message: Users will now see a clear message after successfully confirming an event.
- Timeline refresh: The timeline will automatically refresh when you arrive at the web page.
- Login page updates: We’ve refreshed the visual design of the login page and adjusted the text for the email login flow for a more intuitive experience.
- Main menu stays active: When opening navigation from Assist, the main menu will remain active.
- Event reminders: You can now set event reminder when creating a reservation.
- Add me to attendees: A new “Add me to the reservation” option lets you quickly add yourself when creating a reservation.
CUE Units
- Extended permissions for reservation panels: You can now set custom permissions for extending, finishing, and confirming events for each resource. Choose from 4 options:
- Anonymously
- Any user with resource rights (must be CUE Solution users)
- All event participants (must be CUE Solution users)
- Event organizer (must be CUE Solution user)
- Custom LED settings: In info mode, you can now customize the LED indication and choose your preferred LED colour settings.
- New layout: Layout 7 is now available on reservation panels, designed specifically for displaying a pure info mode.
- Unified media & info mode configuration: The configuration for media and info mode (digital signage) has been unified with the rest of CUE Admin.
- Video playback: Support for video playback has been added in unit info mode.
- HTTPS certificate handling: When HTTPS certificate checks are enabled/disabled for the CUE API server, the same settings now apply to communication with the CUE Calendar server.
- Kerio Connect support: Kerio Connect calendar system is now supported in reservation panels. Note: Panels must be managed by touchONE-manager (manual coming soon).
